Our Students and Faculties Attended the 3rd China Digital Humanities Conference

Students and faculies of from our school attended the 3rd Chinese Digital Humanities Conference held from November 6 to 7, 2021. They contributed seven papers and won three awards. Meanwhile, the 4th China Digital Humanities Conference will be host by Renmin University of China in 2022.

The paper entitled “Exploitation of Spatial, Temporal, and Thematic Archives in the Digital Humanities Perspective: An Example of ‘Qianlong’s Southern Tour’,” written by Yang Qianya, Hao Mengyao, Tan Yue, Yu Yue, and Guo Yaoyuan, won the Third Prize of the Outstanding Paper Award.

The “Beijing Memory – Beijing Opera Faces” project, created by Dr. Guanchan Yang and his team won the Best Creative Project Award.

The “Analysis of Political Career, Academic Schools and Their Relationships of Song Dynasty Scholars” project, created by Chenwen Zhang, Guang Xu, Chen Zhang, won the Third Prize of the China Digital Humanities Open Data Innovation Competition Award.
