The iSchools conference 2021 (iConference 2021), one of the leading international academic conferences on information science and information management, will be hosted by our school from March 17, 2021 to March 31, 2021. The coordination meeting of the conference was held on March 3. Dr. Yuenan Liu, the Dean of the school, laid out the overall plans for the organization of the conference. Dr. Jian Wang reported updates on international communications.

Meanwhile, all teams participated in the conference organization, including academic, technology supporting, secretary, publicity, volunteer, and translation teams, shared their updates and discussed the plans ahead. The meeting was coordinated by Drs. Hui Yan and Minghui Qian, Deputy Deans of the school and participated by a dozen faculty members from our school.

This is the first iConference to be held on the virtual platform iChair, which supports both synchronous and asynchronous forms of conference presentations. This conference will last for 15 days, the longest in the history of iConference.
