From April 3 to 7, 2019, Geneva local time, the 7th ITU-T Internet of Things and Smart Cities and Communities (SC&C) Data Processing and Management Focus Group (FG-DPM) Conference was held at ITU headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Thirty-one experts and scholars from 12 countries, including China, South Korea, Switzerland, France, Britain, Denmark, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and the United States, attended the meeting to discuss international standards for data processing and management in Internet of Things and smart cities and communities.

A total of 43 input documents were submitted and 14 output documents were produced. Professor An’s team chaired and contributed four output documents and participated in the writing of three output documents. Professor Am is currently the principal person in charge of D0.1 (ITU-T FG-DPM Terminology Technical Specification), D0.2 (ITU-T FG-DPM Concept System and Classification Construction Methodology Technical Report), D1.1 (ITU-T FG-DPM Use Case General Requirements Technical Specification), D4.3 (ITU-T FG-DPM Trusted Data Technology Enabling Requirement), and D2.1 (ITU-T FG-DPM Framework and Capability Description), D4.1 (ITU-T FG-DPM Security and Privacy Framework). / D4.2 (ITU-T FG-DPM Privacy Management)/D4.5 (ITU-T FG-DPM Data Governance Framework) Joint Working Group and D4.4 (ITU-T FG-DPM Trusted Data Quality Management) Editor. Dr. Jia Xiaoshuang and Dr. Wei Wei participated in the editorial work of Professor An Xiaomi, who was mainly responsible for the project.
The 8th ITU-T FG-DPM Focus Group Meeting and its 4th Seminar will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 15 July to 19 July 2019.
