On the afternoon of December 28, 2018, "2018 China Knowledge Management Forum – Knowledge Management in the New Technology Environment" was successfully held at RUC.

Professor Zhang Bin, Dean of the School of Information Resource Management, RUC; Professor Chu Jingli, Director of the Department of Library Information and Archives Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Director and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Library and Information Service, and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Knowledge Management Forum; Zhang Haijian, Vice President of the Smart City Business Group and General Manager of the Smart Archives Business Line; Wu Qinghai, founder and CEO of Walker Internet, member of the National Knowledge Appraisal Committee, founder of the Innovation and Knowledge Management Alliance, and deputy editor of Journal of Knowledge Management Forum; Tian Zhigang, Director of KMCenter; Cheng Xin, General Manager of Tongfang Zhiwang Public Service Branch; and more than 150 people from enterprises, institutions, universities and research institutes attended the forum. Professor Chu Jingli chaired the forum.

Professor Zhang Bin, delivered a speech for the forum and expressed his warm welcome to the guests. He also delivered a presentation titled “Knowledge Management in the Data Age”.
