2018 Teacher Education Seminar on the International Frontier of Big Data Governance of the School of Information Resource Management was successfully held

On December 11-21, the International Frontier Teacher Training Seminar on Big Data Governance lasting for two weeks was successfully held. This academic lecture invited Hamid R Ekbia, professor of Indiana University in Bloomington, to discuss some topics related to "big data governance", including overview of big data, methodology of big data, big data governance, big data analysis, social-technical systems of big data, big data from the perspective of political economy, legal and ethical issues of big data.

Professor An Xiaomi chaired this series of lectures. Professor Liu Yuenan, Professor Wang Jian, Professor Jia Junzhi, Associate Professor Ren Ming, Associate Professor Yan Hui, Lecturer Wang Yanzhen, Lecturer Yang Guancan and other more than ten teachers, students and community from inside and outside the school actively participated in the lecture.
