On the afternoon of July 22, 2018, The 6th China CIO Forum was held in Beijing. It was organized by CIO Research Center of RUC and School of Information Resource Management of Renmin University of China(SIRM@RUC), co-organized by UXSINO. The theme of the forum was CIO Sharing Ecology, Enabling Industry Development. The forum attracted about 150 CIOs from government, enterprises and other industries to discuss the coordinated development of China's CIO ecosystem, in order to build China's most professional and academic CIO sharing and exchange platform, and jointly promote the healthy development of industries in various fields. This forum was divided into two parts: the main forum and the sub-forum.
1.     Main forum overview

In the morning, the main forum was held at the Beijing Yanshan Hotel, chaired by Xiaoping Mo and Li Niu, deputy director of the CIO Research Center of RUC. The main forum was honored to invite Xueshan Yang, former deputy minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Jianwei Wang, director of the Department of Integration of Information and Software Services of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Hong Li, CIO of Sinosteel Group Corporation, and Jiayan Sun, COO of UXSINO for keynote speech. Other honored guests and fellow researchers from the CIO Research Center, members of the special committees, the government, Business leaders attended the meeting. The morning meeting included a total of open ceremony, keynote speech, case base launch, establishment of the professional committee, and appointment of the center researcher.

1.3Case base launch

Deputy Director Li Niu chaired the launching ceremony of the China CIO case base. The CIO case library is dedicated to the establishment, construction and use of CIO field cases in China for the purpose of digital innovation, unified construction, joint participation and resource sharing, committed to establishing a shared center for the development and use of case studies in China's CIO field.
