On the afternoon of June 13, 2018, the Academic Seminar on the Construction of Discipline Informatization across the Taiwan Straits organized by School of Information Resource Management of Renmin University of China(SIRM@RUC) was successfully held in Room 209 of the Information Building. Prof. Qiaomin Lin from NCCU Graduate Institute of Library, Information and Archival Studies, Dr. Yimei Hong from Research Center for Digital Humanities of Taiwan University, Research Fellow Bamoqubumo, Research Fellow Zhaoxian Wang, Assistant Research Fellow Cuixiao Guo, Assistant Research Fellow Lan Yu and Dr. Duo Zhang from Institute of Ethnic Literature of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Research Fellow Lianglin Hu from Computer Network Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Engineer Yuwei Gao from Chinese Network Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chief Engineer Gang Li from Beijing Sofoo Technology Co., Ltd., Ms. Danyang Luo from China Minzu University Press, Prof. Xiaoju Li from School of History of RUC, Prof. Huiling Feng, Prof. Bin Zhang, Associate Prof. Zhuang He and Associate Prof. Jihong Liang from SIRM@RUC attended the seminar. The seminar was chaired by Associate Prof. Jihong Liang. Some doctoral students, master students and undergraduates from Institute of Ethnic Literature of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and SIRM@RUC attended the seminar.

Then Dr. Yimei Hong, Research Fellow Bamoqubumo and Research Fellow Zhaoxian Wang from Institute of Ethnic Literature of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Prof. Xiaoju Li , Associate Prof. Zhuang He and Associate Prof. Jihong Liang from SIRM@RUC delivered reports. At the end of the seminar, Prof. Huiling Feng from SIRM@RUC, Research Fellow Lianglin Hu from Computer Network Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chief Engineer Gang Li from Beijing Sofoo Technology Co., Ltd. made free exchanges and speeches.
