On the morning of June 5, 2018, "The World is Dazzling for the Heritage—The 2018 International Summit on Authentication, Restoration and Protection of Chinese Ancient Calligraphy and Paintings" and " The Exhibition of Selected Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy in the Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty, Modern and Contemporary Age " were grandly opened at the Chinese Classics Studies Building of RUC. The Summit was organized by School of Information Resource Management in Renmin University of China(SIRM@RUC) and undertaken by the Conservation and Identification Center for Document and Painting of Renmin University of China, co-organized by the Cultural Relics Identification Research Center of the University of Cambridge,  Memory of the World Knowledge Center Beijing, and cooperated by Yunluyishe. Wei Liu, President of RUC, Bai Zhang, former Deputy Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, Hua Fu, Deputy Director of the National Archives Administration, and more than 200 leaders, experts and painters form more than 100 museums, archives, and libraries at home and abroad, attended the Summit. The opening ceremony was chaired by Prof. Bin Zhang, Dean of SIRM@RUC and Director of the Conservation and Identification Center for Document and Painting of RUC.
