On the afternoon of May 8, 2018, Prof. Zhiming Chen, Director of NCCU Graduate Institute of Library, Information and Archival Studies and Deputy Director of the library, visited SIRM for academic exchanges. Prof. Feng Huiling, first class Prof. of RUC and academic leader of SIRM, Prof. Bin Zhang, Dean of SIRM, Prof. Yuenan Liu, associate Dean, Associate Prof. Yongjun Xu, Associate Secretary of the Party Committee, Associate Prof. Li Niu, Assistant Dean and members of “Peking Memory” Research team attended the exchange meeting.

Prof. Yuenan Liu chaired the meeting. First of all, Prof. Bin Zhang gave a welcome speech. Then, Prof. Zhiming Chen expressed his gratitude to Prof. Bin Zhang for his warm welcome and delivered a report titled “The development and application of the Digital Humanities Research Platform for Ancient Books. Prof. Huiling Feng then introduced the construction of the “Peking Memory Digital Resource Platform”. And the two sides conducted free exchange discussions. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Bin Zhang and Prof. Zhiming Chen exchanged the latest academic publications of the two institutions.
