Recently, according to the “Notice of the Office of the National Archives Administration of China on Paying attention to the Selection of National Archives Experts in 2017” (File Letter [2017] No.125), through gradual recommendation of the Office of the National Archives Administration of China, the Department of Archives Business Supervision, the Department of Economic and Technological Archives Business Supervision, the Department of Policy and Regulations, the Department of Technology, the Society of Chinese Archives, the Archives Administration of each province (autonomous region, municipality), the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Archives Administration, the Administration of Secrets Protection and Archives of the Office of Central Military Commission, etc., and review of National Archives Talent Work Leading Group, 106 National Archives Experts and 31 National Archives Leading Talents were determined.
Prof. Bin Zhang, Prof. Xiaomi An, Prof. Yingwei Wang, Prof. Meifang Zhang, Prof. Yuenan Liu, Prof. Xiaoyu Huang, Associate Prof. Yi Qian and Associate Prof. Yongjun Xu were elected for the first batch of National Archives Experts, and Prof. Bin Zhang, Prof. Xiaomi An, Prof. Yingwei Wang and Prof. Meifang Zhang were also elected for the first batch of National Archives Leading Talents. This fully reflects the great influence of Archival Science of RUC in this field.
