On June 22nd 2005, UBC Professor Alex Carre, vice-president of Canadian Olympic Committee in the past visited the SIRM Canadian country basketball team leader and trainer. He at present is the professor of cultural and education in Columbia University. Professor Carre expressed that he was very happy to visit SIRM .He and Prof. WANG Jian conducted in-depth discussions on co-operation, exchanging for teachers and students, and how to manage archives of Olympic Games.
