Ming Ren received her Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Information Resource Management (iSchool), Renmin University of China. She is also a member of Key Laboratory of Data Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (RUC), Ministry of Education. Dr. Ren's research interests include information extraction, text summarization, concept modeling, knowledge graph, applied natural language processing. She has published in journals including Journal of Informetrics, Information Science,  Decision Support System International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Online Information Review, Journal of Enterprise Information Management. She has also published a book in the area of information systems development and management. Dr. Ren has been principal investigator for several research projects including a NSFC project and has participated in goverment consulting projects on information resource management. Dr. Ren has been a visiting scholar in Indiana University Bloomington (US), University of Texas at Dallas(US), Louisiana State University(US), Gent University (Belgium).
