2016 National Social Science Fund Key project "Digital Protection of Heritage of Historical and Cultural Villages and T

    On December 18, 2016, the National Social Science Fund Key Project " Digital Protection of Heritage of Historical and Cultural Villages and Towns: Theory, Methods and Application "was successfully started in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The project director, Prof. Huiling FENG from SIRM, Renmin University of China and other academic leaders and relevant researchers attended this conference. The meeting was chaired by Associate Prof. Yongjun XU from SIRM, Renmin University of China.

    Prof. Huiling FENG pointed out that the project needed to combine the application of digital technology with the understanding of traditional culture, which is very challenging and innovative. The project team includes participants from a wide range of different fields, including universities, archives, civil society and villagers, and it needs a high degree of cross-border cooperation.
