From May 2nd to 5th, ISO/TC46/SC11 was held at Sydney, Australia. More than 40 experts from 14 countries took apart in the working conference. Director of State Archives Bureau, Guo Siping, Du Mei, and professor An Xiaomi from Renmin University School of Information Recourses Management attended the meeting as the members of the ISO/TC46/SC11 and Chinese delegation. Each working group of the committee made the progress report from 2010 Holland meeting and discussed warmly and finally reached an agreement on the task. The next meeting will be held in London from October 31st to November 3rd. Professor An was involved in the draft and investigation work of the new standards outline of “Information and Literatrue Document Management System Implementation Guidance”.
After the meeting, Professor An was present at the “Information Overload: Finding Trees in Digital Forest” workshop Hosted by Document Management Workers Association of Australia and New Zealand on February 6th. She made a speech named as “China Electronic Records Management: Evolution, Development, and Direction in Future”.
