The 9th European Conference on E-Government

From Jun 20th to 29th, the 9th ECEG was held in Westminster University Business School in London. Liu Yuenan, the associate professor of School of IRM addressed the meeting. The speech was about the cooperated paper “The Challenge of E-Government: Management of Electronic Records in China” (cooperated with professor Feng and An).

The theme of the conference covered six areas: the application of e-government, the challenge of e-government, e-vote, e-democracy, law and order, and other problems. 83 papers from 36 countries were selected to be presented in the meeting, including two from China. There were many teachers, researchers and students who were interested in e-government took part in the conference, as well as the authors of the papers.
