On November 23rd, the innovation and development seminar on “Information Study” was held at meeting room 209 of our school. The conference was hosted by School of Information Recourses Management of RUC and the Information Study and Consultation Committee of China Science and Technology Information Society. The meeting was hosted by the vice-president of SIRM, professor Lu Xiaobin. More than 40 experts and scholars and students took part in the meeting.
At 9 o’clock, Dean of SIRM, Professor Zhao Guojun and Zheng Yanning from Science and Technology Information Institution addressed the meeting on behalf of the school and the society respectively. Deputy Head of Peking University Information Management School, Professor Zhou Qingshan and Leng Fuhai, the Chairman of Information Study Department of National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences, made the keynote speech one by one.
After the speech, the participants discussed over the theory, mechanism of information study, the comparison of the information study domestic and overseas, and other key points.
