From August 19th to 20th, the “Functional Requirement of Electronic Records Management System Seminar”, sponsored by Renmin University of China SIRM, undertaken by Hangzhou Archives Bureau, was successfully held in Hangzhou. Leaders and senior managers from Archives Bureau, Information Office and enterprises were invited. Participants deeply communicated and discussed the functional requirements of electronic records management system.

Vice-Chancellor of Renmin University, Professor Feng Huiling attended the meeting and gave a speech. Professor Feng made a speech on the research state and hot spot of e-records management, analyzed the situation of China e-records management, and gave some suggestions on the strategic cooperation among software manufacturers and researchers. 

Hangzhou Archives Bureau Director Lang Jianhua addressed on the opening ceremony. Director Lang warmly welcomed the audiences. He also expressed his hope that the participants could communicate well during the meeting and perfectly combine the theory and the practice.

The key members of the discussion group, Associate Professor Qian Yi, Liu Yuenan, Liang Kai and Li Zefeng introduced the orientation, structure, key functional module of functional requirement standards of the e-records management system.

Liu Yuenan made a speech named “Qualified Software: Base of E-Records Management”. She compared the international standards of e-records management system design in details and introduced the development trends. Then she analyzed the problems that existing in the system design of e-records management in China and put forward a fundamental imagine of the perfect and standard e-records management system.

Qian Yi talked about the overall design of the e-records management system functional requirement standards. As the head of the group, he explained the background of the discussion, the contrast study of international standards, the key thinking of the research.

The Deputy Director of Hangzhou Archives Bureaus, Zhu Rongxing made the closing ceremony speech.
