In the afternoon of Jan 20,2007, knowledge management lab of SIRM and China knowledge management center held the first 2007 knowledge management salon–"Set the navigation mark of knowledge management". Knowledge management directors or managers from enterprises, directors form the enterprises which preparing to implement knowledge management; representatives from government information management sections and knowledge management experts attended the salon.
The attendants warmly discussed on the effective measure, value evaluation of the implement of knowledge management, and had agreements. In the salon, the attendants agreed that it was necessary to make regular communications about knowledge management among knowledge managers and proposed to set up the knowledge managers club to build up long-term communication system and promote the development of best practice of China knowledge management.
