Last year, 8 papers from students of “Digital Memory I” Talent Training Plan were accepted by DH2017. This year, 9 papers of “Digital Memory II” Talent Training Plan were adopted by the 3rd Digital Heritage Conference (DH2018). It predicts that the talent development scheme will be successful. The theory and practice of Digital Memory won international recognition.
The 3rd Digital Heritage Conference (DH2018) will be held in San Francisco, USA, From 26th to 30th October. Digital heritage 2018 Is one of the key events of the year in its field of research and expertise in the field of Culture and technology domains from computer science to cultural preservation, archaeology to art, architecture to archiving, museums to musicology, history to humanities, computer games to computer graphics, digital surveying to social science, libraries to language, and many more. The conference represents a unique opportunity to explore, discuss and debate the potentials and pitfalls of digital for culture with digital professionals, from educators to technologists, researchers to policy makers, executives to curators, artists to engineers, archivists to scientists, and more.

“Digital Memory II” Talent Training Plan was launched in September 2017. A total of 26 students were enrolled. Continuing the mode of “Digital Memory I” which combining theory with practice, SIRM@iSchool trained the students in all aspects such as innovative consciousness, scientific research ability, practical ability, by academic lectures, reading club, field observation, scientific research and other ways.
