On April 27th, School of Information Recourses Management of Renmin University and Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Archives signed the strategic cooperation protocol on the Practice Base in Hangzhou. Dean Zhao Guoju, Assistant Dean Zhang Bin, Associate Professor Liu Yuenan from our school, and the chief of the bureau Lang Jianhua, Deputy Secretary Lv Fenfang, Zhu Rongxing, and other people from the Bureau of Archives were present at the unveiling ceremony.
According to the cooperation agreement, the two parts will strengthen the exchanges, establish the coordination mechanism, and hold recurrent consultation. The two parts will form the strategic cooperation partnership in the field of technological development, academic exchange, personnel training, subject research, project development, archives business, technological information service, consultation, etc,. At the same time, Hangzhou Municipal Bureau of Archives will become the practice base of SIRM.
This is the first time that our school established the strategic cooperation partnership with local bureau of Archives. More collaboration between two sides will be carried out on the extension of digital archives, establishment of electronic records center through experts consultation, co-research, and other ways.
