The 7th Chinese Electronic Records Management Forum was jointly held by the Electronic Document Management Research Center of the Renmin University of China and the Electronic Document Management Promotion Alliance was successfully held at RUC from November 19 to 20, 2016. The theme of this symposium is "Electronic Records Management in 10 years: Retrospect and Prospect", which aims to review the "12th Five-Year Plan" on the basis of summing up experience and analyzing the situation and design a plan for "13th Five-Year Plan". More than 280 representatives attended the symposium.
In the two-days symposium, the conference speakers reviewed the process of ERM at home and abroad from the aspects of policy development, theoretical research, standard construction and practical exploration. A number of participants expressed that the symposium provided a good platform for communication and collaboration.
