The opening of Korean class is to satisfy the students’ enthusiasm of learning foreign language, and make good foundation for the volunteer service of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Before the opening of Korean class, SIRM has successfully held a series of lectures on Olympic knowledge. The two schools not only hope this Korean class will be successful, but also hope this teaching pattern will continue and advance the communication between Korean culture and Chinese culture, and make SIRM and SI of RUC become the base of academic communication between Korean culture and Chinese culture.

Just as professor Wang Jian said in the opening ceremony: when professor Yong-Jae Lee visit RUC next time, hope we can communicate with him without interpreter, and can report Korean study results with songs, poems or operculum. With the endeavor of all, we believe the Korean class will go well and got rich fruits.
