At 9:30 of July 20, 2007, China’s CZ316 from Seoul, Korean safely arrived at Beijing, 19 teachers and students of SIRM, Renmin University of China went out of the plane, return to the motherland. This Korean and China culture communication visit was very successful.

This activity was held by Renmin University of China, Korean Culture Strategy Research Institute and Pusan University. Professor Mr. Li Min tai invited by School of Marxism-Leninism of RUC, Mr. Zheng Qinglai, member of Korea national assembly, Miss Li Dian Shu, graduate student of School of Literature of Renmin University of China, Wei Chengguang, doctoral candidate of School of Literature and Information in Pusan University, and THE STUDY Company of Korea gave big supports to the visit.

Zhang Bin, Vice-President of SIRM, Professor Lu Xiaobin, teacher Yang Haixin and Ma Qing of SIRM led the delegation, which contained 5 graduate students, 7 undergraduate students of SIRM, and each one student from school of News, School of International Relationship and School of information of RUC. They left in the afternoon of July 14 from Beijing, started a week-long culture academic visit.

The delegation visited Seoul and Pusan. In Seoul, they visited Hanjiang River, the parliamentary library, Jing Fu Palace, Korean University, LG Company and THE STUDY Company. In Pusan, they visited Pusan University, movie studio of Pusan international film festival, marine transportation Platform (APEC summit conference site), Institute of the Korean country recording (Pusan Branch) and so on.

At the afternoon of July 19, School of Literature and Information of Pusan University warmly welcomed the delegation, and both sides gave brief introduction and academic exchanges. All the teachers and students displayed warm and earnest communication and cooperation manner. Mr. Zhang Bin gave brief introduction of SIRM and warmly welcomed Korean friends to visit RUC. The two schools gave presents to each other and took photos together.

The harvest of this Korea visit is rich. Last summer, SIRM had led a group visited IIT in Chicago. We believe with the development of SIRM, there will be more and more similar international exchange activities in the future.
