In the morning of November 19th, the award ceremony hosted by IET Education Foundation was held at the conference center of Beihang University. Vice-President Feng Huiling of RUC, President of Beihang University, Huai Jinpeng, President of University of Science & Technology Beijing, Xu Jinwu, President of Tianjin University, Gong Ke, President of South University of Science and Technology, Zhu Shiqing and Managing Vice President of Peking University, Lin Jianhua, was honored the “IET—Founder President”.
The conference was chaired by the vice president of Beihang University, Wang Jianzhong. The members of the jury committee and others guests attended the ceremony. About 20 media reported the ceremony. Professor Wang Fengdan, Chairman of the IET Foundation and Chairman of Founder Group, Professor Wei Xin, addressed the meeting. Prize-winners Feng Huiling, Huai Jinpeng, on behalf of others made speech on the conference.
Feng pointed out that this award was the acception and support for the group of president of universities. Now we were in the time of development, we should protect the college spirit and keep on pursuing the idealist and future. She mentioned that the leading group of RUC had led our school gained enormous achievement and obtained the praise from all parties. She expressed her proud for being a member of the leading group.
