On May 8, 2008, Archives Class of 2005 Grade visited CCTV Radio and TV A/V Data Center with the guide of Mrs. Meifang ZHANG. By this practical visit, the students knew more about the entire process of collection, reorganization, processing, storage, catalog, retrieval, application service of the CCTV Radio and TV A/V Data as archives.
CCTV was established in 1958, now it has many precious TV programs and dada. CCTV Radio and TV A/V Data Center was established to rescue and restore these data and provide these data for use. With the warm reception of the workers of CCTV, the students visited the computer center, dada flow tape room, data upload room, catalog room, inquiry room and so on, then visited the best media asset management system of the world.
