The founding conference of Electronic Records Management Institution of RUC and the 1st Electronic Records Management Forum was held on December 18th. Delegates from more than 100 organizations, enterprises and universities attended the forum. At the beginning, Vice-President of RUC, Feng Huiling presented the “Decision on the Founding of Electronic Records Management Institution of RUC”, Deputy Chief of State Security Code Bureau, Chief of General Office Information Center, Ren Shouxin, unveiled the tablet with Feng Huiling, and issued the appointment certificates.
The institution was aimed at aggregating the research effort from universities, governments and enterprises to serve the society with professional consultation and decision making and achieve the final destination of the electronic records management study and career.
After the unveiling ceremony, experts from universities and enterprises made some specific reports on electronic records management (details see attachments). The founding conference is the grand occasion for the archives academic. The institution is the first research center of electronic records management in China. It indicates the electronic records management has stepped into a new stage of development.
