Doctoral students Ms. Guanghui Ma and Ms. Yi Song Presented at the ICICKM

    The14th International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge management & Organizational Learning (ICICKM 2017)" was held in Hong Kong from December 6th-9th, 2017. ICICKM is one of the most important international conferences in the field of knowledge management. Every year, a large number of experts and scholars are attracted to participate in and discuss the hot front issues in the field of knowledge management. The 14th conference was hosted by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. More than 60 representatives from all over the world attended the conference. Ms. Guanghui Ma and Ms. Yi Song, doctoral students from iSchool @ Renmin University of China, were invited to attend the conference and make speeches.

 
 

 

    This conference was divided into four parts: academic report, conference paper report, doctoral forum and poster session. Research reports from the key project of National Natural Science Foundation of China submitted by Guanghui Ma, Xiaomi An and Yi Song (Project Number: 91646127) titled “Connectivity roles of the Inter-organizational knowledge sharing platforms in government was accepted by the doctoral student forum and covered in the official proceedings. Ms. Guanghui Ma made a report on the inter-organizational knowledge sharing platforms in government. The discovery of linkage rules between government departments and information sharing platforms has caused many discussions.

    The paper titled “Collaborative innovation community capacity building for Chinese smart city building: A multi-case study” submitted by Yi Song, Xiaomi An, Guanghui Ma and Hui Chen was accepted by the conference forum and published in the proceedings. Ms. Yi Song on behalf of the group delivered a representation on the conference. The digital continuity model based on China’s status quo and problems of urban development has drawn wide attention from the scholars and the managers of government departments.

    The poster on the digital continuity model towards collaborative innovation community capacity building for big data applications and smart city development by  Xiaomi An, Yi Song, Guanghui Ma and Chen Hui was also accepted by the conference. In the poster session, they introduced the basic idea of co-innovation community capacity building, the construction method of digital continuity model and China’s smart city construction of the latest observations and research findings.
