SIRM held conference to explain the project of sending graduates to study abroad

In the afternoon of Jan 24, 2007, the next day of RUC disposing the implement of "The Project of Sending Graduates to Study Abroad by the Universities", SIRM held conference to explain this project and to mobilize students to take part in the project. Zhang Bin, vice president of SIRM delivered the document of "The Project of Sending Graduates to Study Abroad by the Universities" to the students. Professor Wang Jian, assistant dean of SIRM introduced applying procedure, awareness and resources from RUC and SIRM about going abroad to the students at large, also hope students to cherish the change and fully use all kinds of resources included visiting international communication websites of RUC and SIRM to know more about the cooperating schools and partners abroad.

From 2007 to 2011, China Scholarship Council plans to send 5000 graduates to study abroad every year. “The Project of Sending Graduates to Study Abroad by the Universities” includes graduates study for doctor degree and doctoral students trained by both China and foreign universities. Graduates study for doctor degree will study abroad from 36 to 48 months according to the study schedule of the universities abroad, and doctoral students trained by both China and foreign universities will study abroad from 6 to 24 months.

The applicants of the project must be under 35 years old, fully time study students who applying as the graduates or the first grade doctoral students. They should submit the admission from the university abroad and in principle; the enrollment time is the same year of applying.
